Sneak peak of my new Talu range. This one is a special favorite of mine a one-off unique piece that i crafted from a vintage market find and added semi precious stones and chain to. 

 Lava rock and leather tassel hanging from leather. Such a versatile piece perfect for a summer frock on a hot sunny day or dressed up on black makes a gorgeous statement

 We had a successful day at Manly Public School markets. Lots of treasures to be found and sold. It was a lovely sunny day and we had a very fortunate spot in the shade under a lovely tree. The yellow leaves dropping in the gentle breeze became a nice feature of the stall. 

Crystal pendants, feather flapper headbands and leather bracelets were the accessory favourites of the day

The beautiful one-off hand made cotton and doily dress was the eye catcher of the morning and it sold fast in the early hours of the day to a sweet girl who left it on as it looked and felt so nice. She was ecstatically happy with her treasure find and we were just as happy for this little favourite to go to such a loved home.

My number 1 helper. Our 15month old Bambi Bluebell. Doing such a wonderful job hanging the jewellery up for mumma and moving them to a place i'm sure she thought looked much better :) I only spent an hour or so untangling her pretty mess. So blessed to be able to do what I love with the one I love most in the world

Bambi and I were pretty happy with our Market finds. Pappi let us have little wonder around and we came back with a super sweet much loved rag doll, a retro kids push trolley for all her treasures a very cool Native American figure she didnt let go of all day and some great old tool shed draws for all my jewellery bits and pieces. We were very happy treasure hunters and Pappi was very impressed with our successful expedition

Well another beautiful morning with predicted storms this afternoon! Gotta <3 this tropical weather best of both worlds I think! Well I have lots in store for your fashion senses today and a three course meal for your eyes to feast on and to help your mind to wonder through hump day! Immmmm baaaaaack! and guess what? I am here to stay! with my big fat samoan wedding out of the way I am free to put all my creative energy back into the my little Avery & Olive slice of design heaven and I couldnt be happier!

Thank you to all the A&O groupies who have been waiting so patiently for me to remember why I started this- To unleash my designer self  in a creative story telling way where my peeps can find me and see what I am up to! You will be rewarded for your patience I will upload all my wedding photos where you can dabble in the quirky creative polynesian influenced wedding where Tim and I became a real little family (pug and bunnies not excluded of course)

Mosman Market Saturday 5th February

Well despite warnings of unquestionable heat we braved the market scene for our first Mosman Market of 2011 for what turned out to be the hottest day for an equally unquestionable amount of years. The keen market goers were out bright and early which seemed the smartest thing to do as we were working up quite a sweat as early as 6am set up! My gorgeous friend from In.cube.8r of Mosman flew past with angel wings of white feathers and a halo to boot holding a box of icy poles that tasted like the heaven she ascended from. Bless her little cotton socks I really do feel she alone (and her bright red icy poles) got me through the day!It proved to be (all things considered) another successful day at Mosman and I always walk away from that gorgeous little haven of handmade goodies with a wide smile of appreciation for the many talents all the artisans of the market have. Well Done stall holders another great market with quality goods. Worth fighting the elements for I will have to admit!

Weekend Markets

We are very excited, we are packing our van and heading down to Canberra at the weekend.

Yes, we are off to the fabulous Fash N Treasure Market at the Old Bus Depot.

There will be some amazing stalls for all your Christmas shopping and decorating needs.

we'll be back at the Old Bus Depot on Sunday for the

from 10am to 4pm
